Teddy scoots forward into the hug, bringing his arms up around Maxxie's back, lightly gripping his shirt. He nods, profoundly grateful, not just for the words and the fact that Maxxie means them, and Teddy believes them, but the closeness. There's something comforting in the tangle of legs and the tight embrace, even if it's not the most graceful, comfortable thing in the world. Sleep isn't enough, he realizes, he needed this, too.
